BarstoolSports

A website that I have recently started enjoying is Barstoolsports.com. This is a website for sports radio, podcasts and other media. I enjoy this site because it puts a humorous twist on sports radio. Not only do they talk about sports but also current events and its enjoyable to listen too. I like the modern twist they put into their shows.

Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks are finally starting to gain a strong following again. There's a lot of excitement surrounding the young team. A new arena is being built, which means the team will stay in Milwaukee for years to come. Giannis Antetokounmpo was the first player to start in an All-star game in roughly 30 years. Malcom Brogdon is a strong contender for Rookie of the year and Thon Maker is only 20 years old and already showing promise. The Bucks are young and still in playoff contention, I am excited to see what the future holds for this team.

March

March is a time for a lot of excitement and energy. I personally find it to be a nice change of pace from the previously occurring winter months of January and February. This year, along with others years in the past, the weather has been shaping up to be unseasonably warm. For many college students, this time of year is a time to get away for a week and indulge in warm weather on a Spring Break trip. I am fortunate enough to be going down to South Padre Island for the week with a few close friends. Around this same time, the NCAA March Madness tournament will be on and provide another great source of entertainment.

Concerts

Music is a powerful catalyst for provoking uplifting or deeply rooted emotions. A song can bring back a thousand memories or become the foundation for creating new ones. It's for these reasons I have developed a strong passion for music of any kind. One of my favorite activities is to enjoy shows and concerts live. Seeing the artists passion behind the music he is playing or singing tells a story all its own. Being surrounded by people who are all enjoying the same song that you are at the same time is a refreshing feeling. It's a breath of fresh air in a life that can be at times overwhelming and stressful. It's these moments that help take the seriousness away from life and allow you to enjoy living in the moment.

Camping

I am a huge fan of going camping in the summertime. There is something to be gained from being outdoors and enjoying plentiful nature first-hand. Wisconsin is lucky (and also burdened) to have all four seasons play into our calendar year. When we have nice weather, as a Wisconsinite, we take it for all it's worth. Being able to be outdoors, on a lake or in the woods, and hearing the birds as the sun rises is an experience unlike any other. Camping is an opportunity to get away from a world so heavily based on materialism, and that to me is an opportunity worth taking advantage of.
